Senso-ji Temple

It´s well known that Japan is so contrasting but it’s hard to depict how much it is if you haven´t been here.

As soon as you arrive you’ll become a stranger in the land of the rising sun and you will get astonished at every place you may visit.

One of this marvellous place is  Senso-ji Temple 浅草寺, the oldest temple in Tokyo that was finished in 645.
There is a legend that says that in the year 628, two brothers fished a statue of the goddess of mercy, Kannon, out of the Sumida River, and even though they put the statue back into the river, it always returned to them. Consequently, Sensoji was built nearby for the goddess of Kannon.
